Fall 2025 President’s Letter

Patrick Schach

The holidays are a special time in our neighborhood.

As long as I’ve lived here, I’ve been so impressed with the creative and big ways Riverchase residents decorate. It’s been consistently great around Christmas for decades, and in recent years, our neighbors have really stepped it up for Halloween, too. Well done!

We all benefit from living in a beautifully decorated, fun neighborhood.

There are a couple of great holiday events here in Riverchase. Trick or treating just wrapped up—thanks to our neighbors in Lake Point Estates for their hospitality in hosting so many of us! Having a walkable section where people can gather makes for a great time. Thanks also to those in other areas who joined in the fun and welcomed trick-or-treaters to their homes.

Thanksgiving is approaching soon, a wonderful time for family, food, and gratitude. As December rolls around, we’re looking forward to our next big event—Cruise Through the Chase, on December 14th.

This is a favorite tradition in our household. Driving around to see everyone’s decorations with my kids sipping hot chocolate in the backseat has created special memories over the years. Hopefully you’re joining in the fun, too. It’s also a great way to grab a Riverchase Christmas keepsake ornament if you arrive early.

Besides the holidays, don’t forget to visit the Riverchase Residential Association Facebook page for updates and to check out James Kilgore’s podcasts, short discussions on topics of community interest. More details can be found in this issue.

Enjoy the holidays, and thank you to everyone who helps make Riverchase the best place to spend them.
