Summer has arrived in Riverchase!
It may be hotter than many of us would like, but all the activity in the neighborhood makes for a truly fun season in our community.
I hope you enjoyed the annual July 4th celebration at Riverchase Country Club and the parade through Riverchase before the fireworks. This is one of my favorite community events and is something that highlights the benefits of living in such a great neighborhood.
Another fun night—trick or treating in Lake Point Estates—will be here before we know it. Please be on the lookout for more information on this annual tradition in the weeks before Halloween.
As this is the first issue of Riverchase Living Magazine since their election, please join me in welcoming our newest Board members: John Gordy, James Kilgore, and Joseph Weber. Each brings a wealth of different life experiences that have already paid dividends for the community. Thank you to each of them for their willingness to serve. And thank you as well to all the candidates who expressed an interest in Board membership. An engaged group of residents serves us all well. Thank you!
One of the focuses of this latest version of the RRA Board is continuing improvement on communication, so don’t be surprised if you see a greater presence on social media from the RRA. At the same time, we continue to explore avenues for effective communications through traditional mediums. If you have any ideas, don’t hesitate to share them. We welcome your input.
Here’s hoping the rest of your summer here in Riverchase is a good one.
