The Riverchase Women’s Club Scholarship Application is now available!

The Riverchase Women’s Club is pleased to offer an educational scholarship for $1,000 paid to an accredited two-or four-year college or university for tuition or other expenses.  The one-time scholarship furthers our mission of promoting charitable, civic and social activities in the Riverchase Community.

1. This collegiate scholarship is awarded to a deserving student (male or female) living in the Riverchase Community (Riverchase Residential Homeowners Association Member)

2. The scholarship application will be available online and provided to Spain Park High School Guidance Department by February 9, 2023. For private or home school students, please contact Lisa Lebo for more information at [email protected]
(Scholarship is open to any qualifying high school senior in private, public or homeschool)

3. Selection is handled by the Scholarship Committee of the Riverchase Women’s Club

4. Applications being submitted to the Scholarship Selection Committee can be printed and dropped off at Spain Park High School guidance department or at 1216 Lake Point Drive by the deadline, April 3, 2023

5. Please Do Not put your name on essay

6. The criteria for selection are:

– Minimum GPA 3.5
– Copy of transcript
– Letter of recommendation from anyone other than family member
– Community service or resume
– One paragraph (350 words maximum)
What one community service project or opportunity have you participated in during your high school career that has influenced or impacted your life the most and why? Please attach to application.
– Finalists may be required to have an interview with the Scholarship Committee based on the number of applicants

7. The winner will be notified by April 24, 2023.
