RRA Board Report Why Update the Governing Documents

Riverchase Residential Association’s governing documents, including the By-laws and the Declarations of Protective Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R), serve as the foundation of our ‘covenant protected community’. These are essential for establishing the rights and responsibilities of both the residents and the HOA board to ensure our community functions effectively.

As legal requirements change and the needs of our community evolve; it is important to review those documents and to update as necessary. This not only keeps the association compliant legally, but also competitive in a housing market that is constantly advancing. 

 

Clear rules and regulations regarding property upkeep, if adhered to, help increase overall property values. They provide for a uniformly well-kept appearance across the entire community that a non-covenant neighborhood lacks.
