From the President

I hope your 2026 is off to a great start!

It’s been a busy time in Riverchase, and your Board has been hard at work, particularly with financial analysis and planning. I’m pleased to report that we ordered an independent audit of RRA’s financial records and passed without issue. In addition, the Board is in the process of commissioning a reserve study, which should help the Board determine how best to set reserves for future rainy days or capital expenditures and then modify RRA budgets prospectively. Ensuring sound financial planning is one of the things everyone who is part of RRA leadership values.

In other news, I encourage you to review the RRA Facebook page to get the latest information on what’s going on with the neighborhood. Dr. Kilgore’s podcast series has also been a welcome addition to our communication outreach, and I expect it to continue providing interesting information to residents. Interviews include those with insight into local events, the country club, design expertise, and real estate considerations. There’s a little of something for everyone.

Finally, as this is my last “letter from the president” since my time on the Board is about to expire, I’d like to thank all of Riverchase’s residents. Thanks for making this the best neighborhood in Alabama. Riverchase is a special place. You’re all the reason why. Let’s keep working on making sure it stays that way.
